Who are you?
I am Bob Carpenter's designer, Charlotte Ronsseray (live and work in Paris).
How did you start in fashion?
Through realising that it could be a perfect way of external expression. I was avoiding the corporate world when I finished my education, and it's at that time that fashion industry became for me a tool for playing with the aesthetics of this unglamorous world.
How would you define your style?
I'm looking for the unsuited look that fits.
What inspires you?
Being successful in disturbing people's attention without becoming pretentious.
A few words about this collection...
This is the very first collection for which I'm using fabrics from maison de Haute-Couture. I've been inspired by the high-quality materials and their combination with very classical poplins is terrific.
What's your favorite piece in our selection?
The models with collar yokes. Either smartly-dressed buttoned to the top with a jacket (bow tie effect) or modern and original style open under a comfy sweater.
What are you most proud of?
Succeed in establishing a brand that starts to have its own footprint. This is in my opinion the definition of an healthy brand who is growing but still keeping its original state of mind.
Where do you manufacture your products?
All our products are made in Portugal and in Tunisia with fabrics coming from France and Portugal.
Where can we find your collection?
We have our flagship store in Paris, at 6 rue des filles du Calvaires in the Marais neighborhood. We have about twenty stockists in Paris, across Europe but also in China or in Canada. We also work withthe Parisian Department Stores as Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and BHV/Marais for more than two years.
